The Cedar Breaks in Southern Utah will not disappoint. It is a natural amphitheater, stretching across 3 miles, with a depth of over 2,000 feet. The bold contrast of the layers of earth and sediment are fascinating. The rich oranges, reds and white tones tell a clear story of the area’s past. On a cloudy day and just after a rain the colors popped. I hope to pass through again and catch it with fresh snow someday.
Ultimate saturation of the rock after a rain.
