Wandering off an editorial assignment in Saskatchewan, Canada. My assistant and I decided to just drive and see what could find. This random trolling for images is my favorite pastime when I get the chance. We had a good catch. We rolled into Prince Albert and the town was immaculate. After a bite at the local diner we headed out.
Rail cars sit waiting alongside the fields.
A rare backlit rainbow.
Outside town we chased down a religious man who was miraculously saved. He had suffered a traumatic brain injury and survived. He told us his story and that he had found god. He was the most grateful man I think I have ever met and proud to be photographed.
Just outside of town we saw a scrapyard and struck up a conversation with the owner who also seemed honored to have his portrait done.
The yard was full of interesting scenes.
