I love shooting on the road and love coming across structures of character. I have been building a collection over the years of the best of them. For this, the Southwest is a great place to roam. I came across this Mega Bingo Parlor in San Antonio and loved the starkness and the empty, off hour, feel. I saw it and I had to turn around to shoot it. Another Texan gem was outside El Paso. The defunct Quintana Carniceria caught my eye as oddly and beautifully modest. A random Abandon Diesel Station in New Mexico again made me loop back. It seemed symbolic of the fossil fuel age we live in and hopefully the death it will suffer someday. I will continue the series as I wind down the back roads.
